[SOLVED] Dolphin Emulator ReShade Forum

You want to copy/move the 'ReShade' folder, 'ReShade.fx' and 'ReShade64.dll' to your main directory for Dolphin (where the .exe is located). Then rename 'ReShade64.dll' to 'dxgi.dll'. You can then open Dolphin and open any game and you will be greeted with the ReShade build at the top left corner and credits in the center.

IIRC Reshade has rocky support for Dolphin, and on top of that Reshade isn't natively supported on Linux. I can at least tell you that if you're looking for the render pipeline, look in the graphics tab in Dolphin and see what you have it set to, that's what you'll point Reshade to during the injection stage in the setup process.

wondering if anyone knows how to get the depth buffer to work properly on dolphin emulator? I can only get the display depth to show up with either DX11 or 12. vulkan dose not seem to work at all. but in DX11 and 12, the depth is out of alighment with the image. i tried messing around with the copy depth buffer boxes on the add-on tab. but no dice.

I just used Reshade with nearly latest Dolphin build just a few days ago, so, it definitely can work. I set it to "D3D10+ when installing reshade and then set Dolphin to D3D11, and it worked. I don't know what could go wrong with reshade (again, its not our job to support it, and I'm not super familiar with it) but I can at least vouch it can work.

So, shaders are amazing in Dolphin (and other emus) Support. So guys, With shaders we can >>really<< make these games look so much better than they did originally. Fxaa, bloom, Cel Shaders, are all gorgeous. But there are so many more shaders out there, especially in Retroarch respositories, that would work amazing with GC/Wii games.
